I studied sculpture at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where most of my work was in stone or cast paper. As a student I did a lot of temporary minimalist art installations and collaborations with my husband. When I graduated my husband and I spent many a Sunday at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and The University Museum. I walked away from the world of art for over 20 years and have found a new found passion to create. My work always starts as one thing and evolves into another, constantly shifting and moving. I am obsessed with color and space and all the ways they relate to the people in my vignettes. Often the objects are more alive than the people and their roles switch. I am enjoying this new stage of discovery and love hearing about the things that make others create. I can't wait to find out what I learn next!
