Members Show 2022
At the Rock and Art Shop in Downtown Bangor

Intake Date: February 13 (1pm to 3pm)
Exhibit Dates: February 13 – 20
Awards Ceremony: February 17 (5PM on Facebook Live)
De-installation Date: February 20 (10am to Noon)
Who can participate: Bangor Art Society Members (in good standing)
Submissions in any medium are welcome. Pieces need to be framed / able to be hung (i.e. museum wrapped canvas). Pieces cannot be larger than 11”x14”. The BAS reserves the right to decline any submission that does not fit with the gallery’s policy.
Submissions need to be accompanied by 3×5 note card, affixed on the backside of the piece which includes the following information: Artist Name, Artist Address, Phone, Email, Title of the Piece, Medium, Price, and Size.
Members can only register for the show during the installation period, February 13, 1-3pm. Members who wish to submit need to be in good standing (paid for 2022) or renew for 2022 if they have not yet done so, to be allowed to submit. There is no additional submission fee required. Non-members of the Bangor Art Society are eligible to submit upon completion of 2022 Membership Registration.

Submissions will be placed in the above categories. Pieces are judged by our guest judge in advance of February 17. Awards are given to the top 3 entries in each category. A cash prize of $100 is given for “Best in Show”.
Pieces for Sale
Entrants that wish to list their submission for sale during the exhibit should mark the 3×5 notecard on the back of the work with a sale price, or list as “not for sale”. The Rock and Art Shop sells works from the show during the run of the exhibit, and splits the sale 60/40, with 60% of the sale going to the artist.
De-installation is February 20th 10am – Noon. Entrants must be present during these hours to retrieve their work (unless it has been sold).
