Located on the Isle of Staffa in Scotland, Fingal’s Cave is made of basalt, as is the Giant’s Causway in Ireland. Legend says the bridge was built by Finn McCool so he could get to Scotland to fight his rival.
Known as The Cave of Melody, lovers of beauty and wonder have fallen under its spell for ages including William Wordsworth, John Keats, Lord Tennyson and Jules Verne and was the inspiration for ” The Hebrides Overture” by composer Felix Mendelssohn.
